Here is a preview of the next week of the College bowl season
DXL Frisco Bowl San Diego State (7-5) vs Ohio (8-4) Ohio -3
The next bowl games is the Frisco bowl between San Diego State vs Ohio. Ohio is 8-4 and favored in this match up. Their opponent San Diego State is similar to them with a record of 7-5. Ohio has the advantage in the match up with more average points per game yard per game.
Bad Boy Mowers Gasoarilla bowl Marshall (8-4) vs South Florida (7-5) Marshall -2.5
The Next game is similar to the first game with two teams that are one game apart from each other. Marshall is 8-4 and favored in this game by 2.5 points. South Florida is one game behind then at (7-5).
Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Western Michigan(7-5) vs BYU ( 6-6) BYU -11
The next game is the famous Idaho Potato Bowl between Western Michigan vs BYU. Western Michigan is 7-5 but is not favored according to ESPN's spread. Their opponent BYU is favored by 11 point in this game. They sit at 6-6 after splitting their last two weeks to become bowl eligible.
Jared Birmingham Bowl Memphis 8-5 vs Wake Forest 6-6 Memphis -4
The Next game is the Birmingham Bowl between Memphis and Wake Forest. Memphis is 8-5 and favoured in this game by four points. Wake forest is 6-6 barley making it into the bowl they have really struggled at times this year.
Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl Houston (8-4) vs Army (9-2) Army -3
The Armed Forces Bowl is between (8-4) Houston and (9-2) Army. Army is coming off a solid win against Navy in the annual Army Navy game by the score of 17-10. Houston sits one win below them at (8-4). Army is an interesting opponent to play against as their offense is very option and trick play heavy. Last week against Navy they ran a ton. Houston Defense needs to be discipline and make sure that they do not get any penalties on the later down of the drive so that Army can move the ball more.
Dollar General Bowl Buffalo 10-3 vs Troy 9-3 Buffalo -2.5
The next game is the Dollar General Bowl. This game features Buffalo and troy two teams that are very close with records of 10-3 and 9-3. Buffalo is Favored in this game by 2.5 points. Buffalo is coming off of a disappointing loss in the MAC championship by 1 point.
SoFi Hawaii Bowl Hawaii (8-5) VS Louisiana Tech (7-5) Hawaii -2
The next game is the Sofi Hawaii Bowl between Hawaii and Louisiana tech. Hawaii is (8-5) and looking to finish the season strong with a wining record. The Rainbow warriors have won back to back. Louisiana Tech is the underdog in this game. They finished the year 7-5 and looks to continue their late success with a win in this bowl game.
Servpro First respondents Bowl Boston College (7-5) vs Boise State (10-3) Boise State -3
The next game if the Servpro First Respondents bowl. This game features two teams that had great seasons. Boston College finished 7-5 almost getting to the conference championship. This year they showed that they could play with the Higher powers of the ACC by finishing second in their division. Boise State had a great season going 10-3 and making it to the Mountain West championship game against Fresno State.
Quick lane Bowl Minnesota (6-6) vs Georgia tech 7-5 Ga tech -4
The next game is the quick Lane bowl features two teams with similar records. Minnesota finished at 6-6 and has struggled for the majority of the season. Georgia tech is 7-5 and are coming off of a tough lost to Georgia and is looking to finish the season strong.
Cheese it bowl California (7-5) vs TCU (6-6) even
The next game is the Cheese it bowl between two very close teams. Cal is 7-5 and is coming off a close loss too Stanford. TCU is 6-6 they entered the bowl season on the last week of the regular season, with a win over Oklahoma state. Both of these teams are close and they have a even spread.
Walk On independence Bowl Temple (8-4) vs Duke (7-5) Temple -3
The next game is the Walk On Independence Bowl between Temple and Duke. Temple is (8-4) and are looking two win 9 games for the fourth straight season. Duke is 7-5 and have dropped four out of their last 6 games. But their QB Daniel Jones has created some buzz in terms of the draft.
New Era Pinstripe bowl Miami (8-4) vs Wisconsin (7-5) Miami -3.5
The Next game features projected top 5 teams at the beginning of the season. Miami has a (8-4) record but they had a four game slide in the middle of the year. They did recover to get into the bowl season. Wisconsin has not had a good season they have been very inconsistent after a great year last season. They also have a four game win streak in the post season.
Academy sports + Outdoor Texas Bowl Baylor (6-6) vs Vanderbilt (6-6) Banderbuit -3.5
The next game features two programs that have had constant improvement over the last couple of seasons. Both teams are 6-6 and have had some ups and downs of their seasons. Baylor has had awful appearance at the Texas bowl last year in a 38-14 loss to Illinois. Vanderbilt have won three out of their last four games including over Tennessee to reach the bowl season. Vegas gives Vanderbilt a 3.5 point favorite in this game. This match up should be very close one between two very similar teams.
Franklin American Music City Bowl Purdue vs Auburn Auburn -4
The next game is the Music City bowl this game feature two teams that where hoping for better seasons. Purdue is (6-6) and was really expecting to be better and possibly in the Big ten Championship conversation. Purdue wide receiver Mondale More leads the FBS with 103 catches and has been one of the better offensive players that Purdue has. At the beginning of the season Auburn was talked about as a team that could give Alabama a run for their money this season. That image is now a dream as the tigers are 6-6 and looking to finish this disaster of a season off strong.
Camping world Bowl West Virginia (8-3) vs Syracuse (9-3) West Virginia -7
The next game is the camping world Bowl between West Virginia and Syracuse. West Virginia was denied out of the Big 12 championship they dropped their last two games and were knocked from the race. Their star Quarterback will Grier will not play in this game according too ESPN to prepare for the NFL. This the second straight season that the mountaineers finished the year with a losing streak. The Orange have a great season with a (9-3) record and are looking to have a ten win season for the first time since 2001.
Valero Alamo Bowl 24 Iowa state (8-4) vs Washington State (10-2) Wash State -3.5
The next bowl game is the Valero Alamo bowl. The Cougars are 10-2 and were left out of a new years six bowl despite winning 10 games this season. They want to prove to the committee that they should have played in a new years six bowl. Iowa State is 8-4 and have had a great season and have secured their head coach through 2024.

Chick Fil A peach 10 Florida (9-3) vs Michigan (10-2) Michigan -7.5
The first New Years six bowl is the Peach bowl between 10 Florida and 7 Michigan. These two teams have meet in bowl games for the past two years. Florida is 9-3 and have not beat Michigan in any of the four meeting between these teams. Michigan is 10-2 and wondering what happened after they had a clear shot to the Big 10 championship but got blown out by Ohio State.
Belk Bowl South Carolina (7-5) vs Virginia (7-5) South Carolina -4
The next new years bowl is the Belk Bowl. The Belk Bowl features South Carolina and Virginia. Two ACC teams with 7-5 records that have had good seasons and want to finish the year with a win.
College football playoff semi final 1 3 Notre dame 12-0 vs 2 Clemson 13-0 Clemson -11
The first semi final game is between Notre dame and Clemson. This is the first CFP appearance for note Dame the last time they where even close they got blown out of the BCS national championship Vs Alabama. Clemson has been here before and is looking for revenge after being eliminated by Alabama last year.
College football playoff semi final 2 #1 Alabama 13-0 vs #4 Oklahoma 12-1 Alabama -14
The second semifinal is between Alabama and Oklahoma. Alabama is undefeated and are heavily favored in this game. Oklahoma barley made it into the playoff by beating Texas to get the final spot over Georgia. This game will also feature two great sophomore qts. Tua Tagovailoa came in for Jalen Hurts last year during the national championship. He lead the tide on a believable comeback and won the national championship. Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray has had a Heisman season. He has had a unbelievable year getting his team to the Big 12 championship and the college football playoff.
