Stanly Cup FInals Preview

Stanley Cup Final  The Stanley Cup FInal where contenders become champions and pretenders become golfers.  This is the final and the best stage of the playoffs.  This year the contenders have never been their before.  These teams are the Washington Capitals and the Vegas Golden Knights. Eastern Conference Champion  Washington Capitals  The Caps have made it over the hump and are now true contenders for the cup.  This year the Caps team has been awesome.  Their fast puck mobility is unstoppable.  They have been creating great opportunities and capitalizing (an unintentional pun I'm sorry) on those opportunities better than any team in the league.  To add onto that their goaltending has been phenomenal.  Braden Holtby has been awesome all season and throughout the playoffs.  Western Conference Champion Vegas Golden Knights  On the other side of this matchup is the Vegas Golden Knight.  The Knights have dominated the western conference from their first puck drop

Winnipeg Jets The second matchup of this round is between the two newest NHL teams.  The Winnipeg Jets and the Vegas Golden Knight.   The Winnipeg Jets are in their first conference final in their short four year history as an NHL franchise.  They have had a great year they finished second in their division and made the playoffs for the first time.  In the first round, they beat the Minnesota Wild in 5 games.   In the second round, they beat the #1 Nashville Predators in 7 games.  Thier opponent in the series is the newest team in the NHL  The Vegas Golden Knights are looking to e the first team to reach the Stanley cup final in their first year in the NHL.  Their team has had success with their Goaltender, Marc Andre Flury.  Flury has been a solid force for this young team.  In the first round, the Knights beat the L.A Kings in four games.  In the second round, they played the Anaheim Ducks in an action packed 6 ga

Eastern conference Championship preview

After a wild second round the final four teams left in contention for the stanley cup are in the east the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Washington Cpatols.  In the west the Winninpieg Jets and the Vegas Golden Knights. Lets start with East Tampa Bay Lightning Vs. Washing Capitols  In the second round, the Tampa Bay Lightning dominated the Boston Bruins in a tough 5 game series.  This series was hard fought Boston was a great before a tough conference final opponent in the Washington Capitals. The Washington Capitals beat the Kryptonite in the second round, the Pittsburgh Penguins.  The Capitals have never won the eastern conference maybe this is the year.  In the regular season, the season series went to the Lightning each team won a game the third game went to Tampa Bay in Overtime. My Prediction  This will be an exciting series two eastern conference powers going at it for a place in the finals.  I think this is not the year for the Caps although they have b
