Philadelphia Flyers weekly preview #4

Last week was a good week for the flyers they got at least a point in all of their matchups.  This week they have to play the Islanders Hurricanes and Rangers to finish out this season.  Currently, the Flyers are in the first wild card and are two points back of the Blue Jackets. Tuesday New York Islanders  The Flyers start the last week of the regular season against the Islanders.  The Islanders are deeply out of the playoff race.  They are looking to play spoiler to wild card teams this week. Thursday Carolina Hurricanes  The Hurricanes come into town hoping to get the final wild card spot just like the Flyers.  These matchups have been interesting with these teams.  Look for an exciting matchup between two teams that desperately need points. Saturday New York Rangers  The Flyers end their season against the New York Rangers on Saturday.  The Rangers are not in playoff position but may be able to spoil the chances for the Flyers.

Flyers weekly preview #3  This is a big week for the Flyers 3 divisions matchup this week.  They face the Rangers the Blue Jackets and the Penguins. Tuesday Detriot Red Wings 26-34-11 63 points  On Tuesday the Flyers head to Detriot to face off against the Detroit Red Wings.  The Red Wings are currently are struggling they are the second worst team in the East. Thursday New York Rangers  (32-32-8)  72 Point s  The Rangers come to town on Thursday they are fighting their way back into a playoff spot and every point will be valuable for them.  Sunday Penguins 41-26-5  87 points  This is by far the hardest test for the Flyers.  The Penguins are directly above the Flyers and two points for the Flyers would really help the Flyers chances at the playoffs.

As the final full month of the approach, the Flyers look to secure their playoff position.  This week the orange and black face the Vegas Golden Knight on Monday the Blue Jackets on Thursday. Monday Vegas Golden Knights (44-15-5)  93 points  The Vegas Golden Knight come to town on Monday.  They are in second place of the western conference.  the Golden Knights have shocked the Nhl with their talent in the first year of their franchise.  They have controlled the western conference an look to continue their rain into the Stanley Cup playoffs. Thursday Columbus Blue Jackets  (36-28) 77 points  On Thursday the Flyers face the Columbus Blue Jackets.  The Blue Jackets are hanging onto the second wild-card spot in the east.  They are on a 4 game win streak and are looking to extend that streak against the Canadiens before they play the Flyers.
