NBA Draft round one analysis I know that the NBA draft was three weeks ago but with summer league coming up I thought that I might as well sneak this in now while I still can. Pick 1 Deandre Ayton The first pick in the draft went to the Phoniex Suns. The 7-foot power forward out of Arizona had a great Freshman season and is projected to have a big impact in the NBA. But is he the answer that the Suns need to turn their franchise around and make the playoffs. Pick 2 Marvin Bagley The second pick in the draft went to the Sacramento Kings. With their pick, they selected Marvin Bagley out of Duke. Bagley was great in college in his one year at Duke. He was ACC rookie of the year and first team all American. He will fit nicely with the other young talent in Sacramento Pick 3 Luka Doncic The Third pick of the first round went tot the Atlanta Hawks. They slected Luka Donic from slovenia.
