Championship weekend preview

After a thrilling division weekend, there are only four teams left in contention for the Lombardy.  The reigning champion New England Patriots, The Jacksonville Jaguars, The Philadelphia Eagles and the host of super bowl 52 Minnesota Vikings. AFC Championship Jacksonville Jaguars Vs New England Patriots (3:30 CBS) The days action kicks off with the AFC Championship.  The defending Champion New England Patriots look to punch their ticket to the Superbowl for the second year in a row.  They will have to face the AFC South Champions the Jacksonville Jaguars.  The Jaguars upset the Steelers last week in Pittsburgh  45-42.  The Jags are 1-10all time against the Patriots.  Throughout the playoffs the Jags have been successful when Blake Bortles scrambles.  This is going to difficult for him this matchup the Patriots should have a QB spy on bortles if they want to control him. Keys to the game Jacksonville Rush Brady Start fast Take advantage of opportunities on offense

Division weekends part 2

AFC DIvisional  Tennessee Titans Vs New England Patriots The Tennessee Titans beat the Kansas city chief in a comeback to remember.   The Chief would start out fast with a 21-3 lead going into the half but the Titans came back with 22 unanswered including a Marcus Mariota pass to himself touchdown. Keys to the Game Start out fast Hit Brady hard and often Double cover Gronkowski The New England Patriots are the #1 Seed in the AFC.  The current defending champs already have 5 rings and have an easy path to make it six.  Tom Brady has been short of perfect this year. Keys to the game Start fast Throw to Gronk My Prediction As much I hate to say this I think New England will role over the Titans.  The Patriots are going to win 42-28 Patriots.

Division weekend preview

The NFL Playoffs got off to a great start with wildcard week.  We had four very close games and a lot of action.  The officiating was crazy during the weekend from a crazy fumble play overturned because of Forwarding progress.  We also had an “intentional grounding call that decided a game.  At least the refs knew what a catch was.  The refs have to figure it out for this weekend.  That's enough about the refs let's get into the games. NFC Divisional matchup 10-6 Atlanta Falcons Vs  13-3  Philadelphia  Eagles  (4:30 NBC) This divisional matchup is between the Atlanta Falcon and the Philadelphia Eagles.  The Atlanta Falcons beat the Los Angeles Rams last week 26-13.  The Falcons played really well in the wild card round Mat Ryan went 21-30 threw for 218 and a passing touchdown.  The Falcons also controlled time of possession in the wild card matchup by 15 minutes. Time of possession will be a big key for the Falcons if even though they are not playing a Carson Wentz offense.

Wild card preview part 2

Matchup 3 Buffalo Bills (9-7)vs(10-6) Jacksonville Jaguars 1pm (CBS) This AFC wildcard matchup features the (9-7) Buffalo Bills vs The (10-6) Jacksonville Jaguars.  The Jaguars won their division the AFC south.  The Jaguars have had success from there QB Blake Bortles and rookie running back Leonard Fournette who has rushed for over a thousand yards this season.  Defensively the Jaguars Defense has been menacing.  They have been sacking the quarterback their defensive line has been unstoppable with 55 sacks.   The Buffalo Bills are in the playoffs for the first time in 17 years.  They did this in week 17 with a win against the Miami Dolphins and help from the Cincinnati  Bengals with their win over the Baltimore Ravens. The Bills finished their season at 9-7.  For the Bills the biggest question in the health of Lesean Mccoy.  McCoy twisted his ankle in the third quarter of the week 17 matchup in Miami. McCoy is a game time on Sunday.  If he is able to play on Sunday then
