NFL week 1 predictions 1:00 slate



The NFL season is under way and  week 1 started on thirday with the Eagles and the Falcons.  The Eagles beat the Falcons 18-12.  Thier are 8 games in the 1:00 slate on Sunday



Sunday games 1:00 slate


Cincinnati Bengals vs Indianapolis Colts 1:00 pm 

 The first game of the day features the CIncinati Bengals and the Colts.  Both teams missed the playoff.  Both teams made improvemeants.
My Predicition 
I think with the return of Andrew Luck the colts will start 2018 1-0.  This game will be close but I think the Colts will escape 28-24.





Tampa Bay Buccaneer vs New Orleans Saints 1:00 pm 
the next game is the Tampa bay Buccaneer vs the New Orleans Saints.  The Bucs are missing thier starting qb Jamis WInston.  He is suspended for the first four games of the season .  The Saints made the Playoffs last year but lost to the Vikings in the second round,  The Bucs missed the playoffs last year,


My prediction 
I think the Saints win this match up mostly because of Tampa QB problem and them having to rely on to their backup qb.  I think the Saints take this one easily 28-14.

San Francisco  49er vs Minnesota Vikings 1:00 pm

 This next game is going to be interesting this match up feature the Minnesota Vikings and the San Francisco 49ers.  These are two teams that have new QB situation.  The 49ers have Jimmy Grapolo who did make 1 start last year but this is his first full season last year.  The Vikings in the off season  sign Kirk Cousins in the off season.  these two QB s will be the top thing to watch in this game. 

My prediction 

 I think this game is going to be one to remember for week 1.  We have two teams with great QBS and great offensive power.  with that said I think the 49ers will win this game 41-38.  


Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens 
The next game is the Buffalo Bills vs.  Baltimore Ravens this game is a revenge match for the Ravens.  The Bills took the Ravens playoffs spot last year with a win.  

My prediction 

 I think this game will entertaining. I think Baltimore will win this match up 42-21.

Jacksonville Jaguars Vs. New York Giants 

 This is going to be a good  game.  Tom coughlin the former coach of the New York Giants is coming back to met life stadium as the coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.  This is also the debut of Giants running Back Saquan Barkley. 

My Prediction

 I think this going to be an offensive game both teams have great offenses and phenomenal running games and I think the Jags are going to take this one 43-40.



Houston Texans vs New England Patriots
The game is the Houston Texan vs the New England Patriots this is a rematch of the divisional round from two years ago.  That game was entertaining and this one should be too.  This is also the return of star QB Deshaun Watson.  Last year Watson suffer a torn ACL in the middle of the season which killed the Texans in the end.

My prediction 

 I would not want to be a defense in this game.  Two teams with great offenses old and new this should be a classic just like whenever two Quarterbacks like Watson and Brady take the field this should be slug fest.  I think the Texans upset the Patriots because of their defense 51-46.


Tennessee Titan vs Miami Dolphins 
The next match up is the Tennessee Titans visiting the Miami Dolphins.  This Match up consists of two teams that need to turn it around this year and both of them have great potential to win week 1.

My Prediction 

 I think the Titans will win this match up but it will not be easy ( 28-25)




Cleveland Browns Vs. Pittsburgh Steelers 
The final game in the 1:00 portion of week 1 is Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh Steelers. One of the big things to look for in this game is the Cleveland QB Situation will it be Baker Mayfield or Tyrod Taylor under center.  Baker is the first overall pick and had a great preseason.  Tyrod is the more experienced QB from Buffalo.

My Prediction 
I think the Steelers will take this just because of their offensive power even without Levon Bell they will have a hard time doing but I think they take it 24-21.

2019 NFL Division Preview Saturday

   NFL Division Preview Wildcard weekend was just that wild we had 3 out of the four road teams win. We had some interesting calls and a kick that didn't just hit post put hit the left upright and bounce out to give the underdog team a win. Indianapolis Colts vs Kansas City Chiefs  Saturday 4:35 NBC The first game of the divisional round is the Indianapolis Colts vs Kansas City Chiefs.  The Colts are coming off of a huge win on Saturday against the Texans.  The Chiefs have the number 1 seed in the AFC and have the talent to make it all the way.  Although they have not been this good in years the chiefs have always found a way to choke in the playoffs.  Last year they went up by three scores and tried to close the Titans out after half time but they ended up losing 22-21.  Definitely one of the headlines for this weekend will be just because you have a high seed does not mean you get a free trip to the conference championship. Western Conference first half review

1.  Calgary Flames  The first team in the west is the Calgary Flames with 71 oints and a 6 point lead on the second place team the San Jose Sharks.  The FLames have been hot latley winning 8 out of thier last 10 in regulation and winning three in a row.   2. Winnipeg Jets  The Jets hold the third spot in the west with 31 win and 64 points.  The Jets have stayed consistent with their great playoff run last seaoson. The Jets are 5 points away from the first spot in the west.  The ets finished the first half of the season with a win. 3. San Jose Sharks  San Jose has the second spot in the west with 29 wins and 65 points.  This is a big improvement from last year.  This time last year the Sharks were fighting to stay in the top 8.  This year that has not been a problem as they have sored to the top of the standings.  One of the biggest reasons for the change was in the Off season when they signed former Ottowa Senator Erik Karlson.  That along wi

2019 NFL Conference championship preview

We are 3 weeks away from the season and have four teams still in contention for the big game.  In the Divisional round last all of the upper seed won.  On Saturday the Chiefs blew out the Colts 31-13.  The Rams beat the cowboys.  On Sunday the Patriots beat the Chargers and the Saints beat the Eagles.  That's what happened last week who knows what will happen this week. 2019 NFL Division weekend preview Sunday

2019 NFL division Sunday preview Here we are the final two games of division weekend.  Last night we had two great games.  The chiefs killed the colts to get their first playoff win in many years. The Rams beat the Cowboys in a very close match-up.  Today we have two more very entertaining games. New England Patriots vs Los Angeles Chargers The first game of the day is between the Charger and the Patriots.  The Chargers beat the Ravens last week to get to this spot.  They beat the Ravens by pressuring Lamar Jackson and they need to do the same today in order to move on.  The Chargers are also 9-0 when they have traveled outside of Los Angeles.  The Patriots have the second seed in the AFC and are hosting this playoff game today.  The Patriots are looking for their tenth straight appearance in the AFC Championship game.  Philadelphia Eagles vs New Orleans Saints  4:40pm The next game is between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New Orleans Saints.  The Eagles beat the Bea

NFL week 14 Preview

The NFL Season is coming to the end fantasy playoffs are under way and playoff races are tight.  Lets get into the preview. Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys 4:25 pm One of the biggest games of the day is a divisional match up between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys.  The Birds are 6-6 and are coming off a great Monday night win agianst Washington.  The Cowboys are one game ahead of the Birds and look to keep it that way and kill the Eagles division hopes today.  The first game between these teams was dominated by Dallas hopefully this game will be a bit closer. New York Jet vs Buffalo Bills The next game does not have any playoff positions but it is another great division rivalry between the Buffalo Bulls and the New York Jets. Both teams have struggled this year with records of 3-9 and 4-8.  Hopefully one of these teams can turn it around today.
